If that is what, as commenter Dennis V.W. suggests, record companies are looking for, then I cannot fault them. What I particularly liked was that he held forth on single notes without all the fashionable ululatory effects that so many singers do today. I was flabbergasted by Adam’s vocal technique–it was on a par with any operatic singer (although obviously geered to a different effect)–and he was charismatic and powerful.

Adam as the winner, Danny second. As far as the females to choose from, Megan is a doll with a gorgeous voice. It's not all about the vocals, the contestants also need to have a good stage presence and the above contestants surely showed it and know how to work the audience. They are extremely comfortable on stage and obviously Adam has had the training all his life on stage, Danny with his family and church. Kudos to all of the contestants featured who have all done a wonderful job of entertaining us weekly! I totally agree with Dennis as he has also picked my two favorites. One thing I've realized about AI is their ability to field artists that have commercial viability. I know the two artists that will most likely make the top two because I know what the music industry is looking for. My wife is amazed week after week how correct I've been (even when Simon is wrong). Adam will win because he's the best vocally and commercially, Danny will be second because he has an awesome voice. I'd pick Meagan over any of the females because she has a good voice and an adorable stage presence. Pass it on. I appreciated your analysis.
