Singing Home Study Course Launch Date Set!

By Per Bristow | June 6, 2008

Great things don’t come without challenges. With some challenges that delayed the launch of my new home study course, we are now set to go.

Mark this in your calender:

Tuesday June 10th - 9.30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time the doors to the party open.

A day or two before, I will give you the exact details of what this entails. Let me reveal… that this is far more than just a couple of DVDs. It is also far more than just making you a significantly better singer.

I’ll also try to make sure that all your questions will be answered. Leave your questions and/or comments below.

Many of you are afraid that it will be very expensive, and when you see the scope of this, you’ll agree that it should be. And frankly, it will be. But since you are part of the initial launch you are in for a surprise in that department too.

Many of you have reported that you haven’t been able to see the streaming video. There is now a version up that you can download at www.BristowVoiceMethod.com/new-era.html

Make sure you watch it and read "The New Era of Singing Training".

Talk to you soon,

Per Bristow

Could the course help people who had your old course?

Can you submit a video of your vocal abilities through some though songs that require good blend of all registers. .

Showing that you can pull it off with your technique will inspire me and others to look into it. If you have a hard time yourself changing registers, then to me you’re just a guy who read alot of stuff but can’t put his theories into practise, and if you can’t do it, how should I by listening to you :>

If you want to I can give you some sugestions of songs :>

It’s nice to have 3 pages of credentials and everything, but it’s the internet after all.
Do this and me and friends will look into your approuch :>

    Sincerly

Didn’t you see his video Olivier?? I’d like to know, Per, you said your voice is deeper than it used to be but you sing higher also. Did you consciously work on getting it deeper and if so how does that help you be able to sing high Cs the way you did in the video?

I’d say if anything your demonstration of your vocal abilities was what sold me. What I’m worried about is that this vocal program is going to be very expensive. Please say it ain’t so.

Yes ofcourse I saw his videos, but the vocal ability he demonstrated wasn’t exactly mind bogeling. Any person with some vocal training can do these glottis slides from chest to mix to head.

What I’d like to see is a bigger demonstration of this capabilities, hitting C’s in full mix, going to his G above high C in head without sounding shacky or raspy. If this technique allows for such a thing, which I suppose it does since he claims that the right contramuscles [those who pull larynx down etc], give for free singing, so if you’re free you should be able to hit those easily. I’d just like to see some more concreteness of his voice, like those notes, aswell as in a song _- Me and many friends btw :>

Btw I wonder if your technique is based on the New Voice : How to Sing and Speak Properly book.

I heared you sing a C but it was in headvoice, I’d like to hear it more in a chesty mix quality, since in a song you won’t likely go sing a C in head just like that, it would sound beter in a chesty mix :P

Geez, “do like I say or else you’re just someone who has read a lot of stuff”. What kind of immature talk is that. I didn’t feel the video was in any way meant to be “look what I can do”, but to gracefully share the philosophies of learning. I just saw the video yesterday and felt it was very profound. I, and I am sure many with me, really appreciate you sharing this, Per.
