Will you be teaching specific styles? What style is the course mostly geared towards?

I was wondering what happened. I guessed I missed the last email. Can this course teach me to scream like Steve Tyler? I loved you rocking out in the last video.

I’d also like to be able to sing with a rougher sounding voice… but then be able to do it the next day too… I have to rest for three days after I’ve sung with my band. I know that can’t be good.

My voice is rough as it is. I would love to get a smoother voice. Is the roughness because the vocal folds are damaged or what is it that creates roughness versus smoothness?

If you could teach me to go Wooooooooooo! like Little Richard, that would be fantastic.

I struggle with a breathy voice. I wish I could have a stronger voice. I’ll take you up on your offe that it can change already after the first lesson. That would be fantastic

Can’t wait to hear the details of the new course. I took the online course and it helped tremendously. Looking forward to more great tips in the new course.

I’m looking forward to a summer of singing! I’ve just become the lead singer of a band and we’re gonna practice like crazy, so I really want to learn to get the most out of my instrument

Hello for France. Do you teach vibrato? I have heard some people say vibrato is not good for you and some people say singing without vibrato is bad. What is your opinion?

At 51 years of age I was a complete neophyte to singing. After taking the online course last fall I am hooked !!! The really cool part is that it is as much about setting the inner spirit free, as it is about singing. It is funny, I was “mimicking” Per in this video. Then I immediately tried to sing some songs I am working on. The songs “felt” better !!! It is the trick/gift of letting go of that little judge inside you who is limiting your singing. To heck with the “the truth will set you free”, it is “Singing that will set you free !!!”.

I really love your philosophy Per. I haven’t taken any course from you before, but I’m close to getting hooked too

I have a very breathy voice and sometimes it hurts. How can I not have a breathy voice?

Good point Danny. I’d love to be able to set my voice free more. I know I’m pretty good, but know there is much more there. I’ve gotten much better at “letting go” , but would love to learn more your strategies of how to get more out.

Hey Per, what I would love to see in the course is where you demonstrate diffrent styles. I’ve been a subscriber to your newsletter forever but I didn’t take your course (was broke). Back then you had an audio track on your website with a mindblowing medley where you sang a bunch of different styles. Will you be showing how to do those different styles, what the difference is?

My old teacher was talking a lot about back resonance and throat resonance versus front resonance. I’ve read that you don’t talk about “singing from your mask”. Could you expand on that?

I have the privilege to take private lessons with Per in Los Angeles. I have NEVER before experienced the kind of process he is guiding me through. I totally trust him. The content of these DVD courses is going to be beyond anyone’s expectations, and whatever the price, it’s going to be a thousand times worth it.

    Hello Per,
thanks for taking my question seriously. I am willing to take the challenge, because you are really good at making it sound intriguing. Has anyone told you that you look like Al Gore (only after he has taken singing lessons)? :-)
Even though I trust you on the self-coaching part, do you also plan to comment on recordings, for example?
Thanks and good luck launching your stuff!

I find your approach very interesting. I have been doing a lot of research on the Internet trying to find a coach that clicks with my thoughts on voice. I want to hear more about your theory.
    thanks/Mik

    Hi Per!
I’m looking for some advices about singing, here’s my situation:
I do a lot of singing, but I am very low and I really have to force air through my throat to make some sort of voice appear if I try to go over a middle F, like “shouting” if you understand me?

How can I solve this and learn how to smooth my voice and sing those higher notes without making it sound like I’m almost cracking my voice?

Because I can’t really sing any song at all in original-tune, because I’m too low, so I wan’t to like “raise” my voice level so I can sing better like a professional.

I belive that was a lot of questions but I would like to have an answer from you, really, you’re my singing idol at the moment!

By the way: Will those “problems” I mention be included on your Home Study DVD and how to fix them?

    Signed.
    Eric.

Very refreshing approach I agree. I’m just an amateur, but I do enjoy to sing. by myself mostly Does your course cater to someone like me or is it more for singers who sing in bands and such?

  24. Randy Says:

I have studied the Roger Love course thoroughly
and it has really helped me.

    How does your course differ?

  25. Mimi Says:
    June 6th, 2008 at 1:40 pm

Because I am such a fan of Per’s, I can’t help but wanting to talk anyone into investigating and buying his DVDs.

ERIC, this is the perfect material for you. I garanty you that you’re going to be blown away by what you can do with your own voice, no matter how impossible it seems to you at the moment, when you apply Per’s method. And fast too…

This is a bit late. but I’ll wholeheartedly echo Mimi’s post above.
